Hi Brian, I think I looked for the Dragon's website, but there wasn't one - perhaps someone could find a map on multimap and paste the link in. Jane 18/06/08
Hi its Morgan Hyde here and I would like to announce that there is a new session aimed at new starters on a temporary basis while a permanent session is found, this is so people who start Silver Surfers wont have to wait for a session. More details to follow.
Hi. I am David Menzies & I have attended the silver surfers classes at both Brickhill & the Kempston library. I have found the courses very good because of the imformal way they are conducted. I have found I have learnt a lot & gained confidence in doing so. It has been good in trying things out at home later how it comes together. So far doing headings on letters & putting on picctures from my didgital camera onto the computer, then circulating them world wide has been very gratifying & surprised my friends , so it has been useful. The website. Thanks to Peter & Brian
Hallo,I am David Hall from Bromham where I have lived with my wife Frances for 47 years (in the same house). I have been retired almost 4 years and about a year ago we decided that I needed a new pastime The result was to increase my computor skills by joining Silver Surfers.I was fortunate to get a place immediately at Kempston Library on Monday afternoons and was made to feel welcome by Peter Males and the members of the group.
The sessions are very free and easy, dealing with all sorts of subjects, including advising on member's PC problems.I have enjoyed my time with them and long may it continue Thanks to Peter and Mae.
